Expected Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan – Updates

Petrol and diesel prices are anticipated to increase by 7 rupees per liter for the first half of February. The latest prices are set to be announced on February 1st by the caretaker government. The Expected petrol price in Pakistan will be Rs.266.34 at the start of Feb-2024.  This expected increase in petrol prices is mainly because of the rise in the global market rates. However, the final decision will be proposed by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) at the start of February. It will apply from February 1st to February 15.

Present Petrol and Diesel Price in Pakistan

The petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan were last updated on January 15, 2024. The petrol price was reduced by Rs 8 per liter, whereas the diesel price remained unchanged in the review conducted at the mid of January. Thus, the rate was set at Rs. 259.34 per liter for petrol and Rs. 276.21 for diesel.

If the caretaker government endorses the anticipated rise of Rs7 per liter, in the rate of both entities, the latest petrol price will be Rs266.34 per liter and it will be Rs 283.21 per liter for diesel.
