After the reduction in petrol price in Pakistan to Rs.10.00 per liter, the new price of petrol sums up to Rs.249.10 per liter. The prices of diesel are down as well and the rate stands at Rs.249.69 per liter by reducing the price to Rs.13.06.
Present Petrol and Diesel Rates in Pakistan
On 1st September, the Petrol price in Pakistan was Rs.259.10 and the Diesel Rate in Pakistan was Rs.262.75. This was brought down to Rs.249.10 and Rs.249.69 respectively effective from 16th September.

Reason For Decrease
The reduction in fuel prices is a significant relief for the public. The Ministry of Finance issued a notification regarding the price adjustments following approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Impact On Citizens & Economy
Transportation Costs: The relief to the operational costs will result in a further reduction in the prices of goods and services for commuters and transport companies.
Cost of Living: Inflation and the general cost of living are supposed to be reduced since transportation costs raise the prices of products used on a daily basis.
