Expected Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan from 16 February, 2024

The expected petrol price in Pakistan is going to remain the same, whereas the rates of diesel are anticipated to increase in the second half of February. This decision may be finalized by the interim government and will be shared with the public on the night of February 15, 2024. After the announcement, the modified prices will come into effect from February 16, 2024. This challenging decision is taken due to the escalating international rates of oil which results in putting pressure on the local fuel market.

Current Petrol and Diesel Prices in Pakistan

The caretaker government modified the price of diesel and petrol on February 1st, 2024. The petrol price in Pakistan was increased by Rs.13.55 per liter and we witnessed a rise of RS 2.75 in diesel rates. Hence, the final petrol price was set at Rs.272.89 per liter and it was Rs.278.96 per liter when it comes to diesel.
